T.S. Eliot was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1948.  As the story goes, the renowned writer was on his way to Stockholm for the awarding ceremony when a reporter asked him for which of his works won him the award. "Its for the entire corpus," Eliot replied.  The reporter continued with "And when did you publish that?"
